The sixth movement of Canadian composer Srul Irving Glick's choral symphony will be the focal point of this concert. The music of Glick, and an array of Mendelssohn Psalm settings, will be complemented by excerpts from Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story and Candide.

Christina Rosetti's poetry seems an appropriate heading for the Linden Singers' mini-tour to the mainland in the spring of 2011. A return exchange concert with the North Shore Chorus will be the focal point of this musical excursion.

A concert featuring John Rutter's Gloria, written for choir, brass and percussion will be the centerpiece! A Victorian Christmas set including period readings will complete this experience. Guest artists will include the Oak Bay High School Chamber Choir.
