Listen to the Land: A Celebration of Canadian Choral Composers, April 25-26, 2026
Join us for Listen to the Land, a concert that honours the voices, histories, and musical traditions of this place we call home.
This program features music not only in Canada’s official languages of English and French, but also in Ojibwe, Woodland Cree, and Anishinaabemowin. Through words, sounds, rhythms, and melodies, we celebrate the people who have lived on the land we now call Canada - quite possibly for as long as there has been land to live on – and those who came after.
Listen to the Land invites you to hear familiar and new musical expressions woven across generations, cultures, and stories. Come experience a tribute to the land, its keepers, and the shared song that continues to grow.
